Also, Texas State Rifle Assn is a possible recipient if you’d like to have Amazon donate to them through your purchases at AmazonSmile

I try to only use Amazon for things our local gun stores or other retailers don't sell, or are out of stock on and I need quickly. One of our local stores is pretty awesome about trying to add stuff if a few of us ask about him carrying it.

Most of the time I happily pay 30-50% more for sub-$50 products to try and help our local guys stay in business and well stocked- although most of the time, the differential is closer to 0-20%.

With that said, when I really need something that's not in stock locally, amazon is pretty awesome.

I buy gun stuff from Amazon. But never any optics, due to the fakes lurking out there.

The Amazon Smiles I run mine through is for an orphanage in Mexico.

Speaking of fakes, watch out if you buy Mitutoyo calipers, etc. online. Many chinese fakes out there.

As much as I hate to admit it, I am shopping more at amazon for gun accessories:

    https://www.amazon.com/s?k=firearm+accessories&crid=2LAN51KW7E6RO&sprefix=firearm,aps,154&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_7

And when I do, I use AmazonSmile and make automatic donations based on what I buy to Guadalupe County 4-H Shooting Sports in Seguine, TX

    https://smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/about/ref=smi_se_dshb_aas_saas

I don't buy everything there, and I prefer buying elsewhere, but they are pretty darn handy...

    Anyone else?

    BuzzinSATX,

The only "gun stuff" that I've bought on Amazon in over a decade was a left-hand German Police uniform/duty holster for my Sig-Sauer P6, because I could not find a similar LH holster elsewhere. GOOD price, too.= 8 bucks shipped from Germany.

    yours, satx

I have bought a few things from them before But I only use the fulfilled by amazon ones so that their is less of a chance of getting something that is a ripoff.

I bought my Dong Optic reddot for my AR pistol off Amazon. Optics Planet was the vendor & I used a make an offer & saved another chunk of cash on it.
