Also, they're calling on Wal Mart to quit selling guns. Wal Mart only sells the stuff they always claim they aren't interested in taking, namely 10/22's, shotguns and bolt action deer rifles. They don't sell handguns or AR's. So why are they demanding Wal Mart stop even this?

These people are such bald faced liars it makes me sick.

Worse than that, they're Orwell's sheep...

... and when the pigs had finished, almost as if on cue, the sheep began bleeting: "ba"aaa'aaan, ba'aaa'aaan, ba'aaa'aaan... and by the time they had calmed down, the pigs were gone and there was no chance to ask any questions.

So far Walmart execs aren't budging on the latest calls to ban sales of guns and ammo. Hope they stand by that.

They probably thought about the repercussions DICKS had. Hell, think about how many people that shop at Wal Mart that could make quite a big group that could ban or boycott them. I doubt they would want to piss off half the blue collar gun owners in the USA

Walmart doesn't care what people think. They care about profit and just got thru fighting activist share holders over this. On going buisness from Guns and hunters and the rural shoppers and pro freedom folks are a big part of ongoing long term profitability when compared to the pissed today forgot tomorrow outrage mob. They sell some stuff at a loss like a lot of their grocery products because of the traffic it brings in and other stuff those customers buy. They keep guns in stores where they are worth having them. Where they are not they stop selling them and also get to save on the cost of doing that buisness with extra training and employees.

To show you that walmart wont screw around when it comes to things that effect the bottom line or their company policies, they have closed whole stores just because a couple employees tried to circulate union info. They just wont tolerate it.

Walmart knows better than to piss us off. Dicks should be a reminder of what happens when you piss off your customer base.

Dicks, the only so called “sporting goods” store in Hot Springs, but I will drive 50 miles to Bass Pro or Cabella’s before shopping there, and I’m not that fond of either of them.

Bass pro in my area is 25 miles away and Cabelas is 40 minutes from my house but so worth the drive. I usually stop at Academy or Walmart for immediate ammo or fishing needs.

Let's not forget it wasnt that long ago the "fudds" that were running Bass Pro wouldnt carry ARs or ccw guns. Not till Remington put out hunting ARs did they start to carry them and then only those. Thankfully they eventually saw the light but only after a bunch of I'm pissed letters. The whole guns are for hunting fudds had to be reminded what the real 2nd ammendment was about and the fact we wouldnt support them if they didnt support us.

It's not really a rare way of thinking, remember Ruger didnt start down the ccw and non hunting road till Bill Died. As brilliant a gun buisness man as he was he just didnt get it. Only Law Enforcement mini 14s had flash hides and a tactical look.

This said Bass pro and Ruger did what dicks were too busy stepping on their dick to do. LISTEN.

    "Dicks shop at Dicks"

    no2gates,

IMO, only SELF-HATING, DUMB-bunnies shop at Dick's, inasmuch as their corporate policy makes it clear that they serve themselves & the gun-HATERS instead of serving their customers. = Fyi, I will NOT enter a Dick's & Target for any purchase & for the selfsame reasons.

    yours, satx
