You started a new build just because you had an extra handguard floating around?

    I like your style. :shades:

here is a picture the 10MM AR-15 the handguard would not accommodate the diameter of the linear compensator. The barrel nut is a temp one. So I have a handguard coming in next week. I have some 30 round Glock 10mm Round Magazines coming in next week also

Welcome to the club. I’m not sure if anybody warned you, but 1911’s have a way of making you buy more and more.
I don't know about 1911's. But, my handguns in general have been multiplying. I'm even just barely starting to think about getting a 45, thanks to Moonpie.
Truth. It doesn't help when you shoot other peoples.
    Ain't that the truth.

    Gunz are icky.
Where's the range report? Does the cylinder lock up Python-like tight when you drop the hammer? I noticed my Cobra re-release does that.

Just got home with it so no range report as of yet.
It seems rock solid on hammer drop. Zero movement on the cylinder until trigger release.
    Open/closes easily.
Like the shape and feel of the rubber grip. One draw back is when using a speed loader, the loader has to be forced/wiggled down beside the grip to fully enter the rounds in the cylinder. The edge of the grip is just a tad too wide. Not a biggie as the rubber is soft and the loader passes along it with just a nudge.
The gun uses the S&W K frame speed loader. The Python/Trooper loader will not work. It's too wide. I tested it at the gun shop.
Front sight has a brass bead which is nice.
I'll try to get it to the range next week if I get time.

    Does that replace the TPC?
I have no idea. A friend had one at my buddy's range a couple of weeks ago and I shot it and thought it was OK. He said he's shot his a bunch with zero problems. $139 shipped from Bud's Gun Shop. It came with 2 magazines. I like the way it's melted, no sharp edges anywhere. The trigger is better than my LCP. Just pull through like shooting a DA revolver. I'll wring it out this weekend.

The trigger is just a little gritty but it the pull is consistent all the way through. The trigger itself is pretty wide and I'm sure this helps the feel.
