Quail Creek Range

Has anyone been to Quail Creek Range near Denton? Good?.... Bad?.... Somewhere in between?

It has been a few years since I have been there. It was a good range in my opinion. Not sure how it has fared since then. I have not heard anything negative about Quail Creek.

I spent 2 hours there Thursday on the pistol range. I really like this place and have gone there for many years. Many upgrades since I started coming.

Good pistol range and good rifle range.
Range officers are friendly and keep it safe.
It's located just a couple of miles north of TMS on I35 W

It's a bit far away from my house (North East Dallas) but I would like to find a good place with a long rifle range.... The Garland outdoor range is closer but has had flooding problems

I prefer outside ranges but Texas is really hot in summer.

Roadie1960, have you ever been to Gibsons Outpost in Mesquite?

I saw a thread on arfcom asking if it was being sold.

It's either next to or across the street from Devils Bowl Speedway on Lawson Rd I think.
