Don't you think folks already know that? They might not know that he was 15 when he wrote it or other particular facts about it; however, the fact is that he wrote it--fiction or not. And we all have the right to be able to draw our own conclusions about a person who would write such garbage . . .

There are plenty of authors, widely acknowledged as giants in their fields, who have written millions of pages containing much more disturbing imagery.

I have plenty of reasons to dislike his candidacy but some bad prose he wrote when he was a kid isn't one of them.
