It used to be acceptable to tell racial or ethnic jokes, or to use derogatory names for different races. Today, those same activities might get you punched in the throat.

Societal change is inevitable. Some for the better some not. I don't like "agendas" pushed on me either. Otherwise, I'm willing to live and let live (you do you, I'll do me).

    XXY.

It happens. Males born with an extra chromosome. Are they really male if they carry an extra female chromosome ?

Got a Y? Male. Born with male genitalia? Yep. With a medical problem? Yep.

Chooses to try the other gender? Mental problem.

Doesn't change the reality that “she” is a mentally ill dude.

Just because you think it's a mental illness doesn't mean the mental health community does. Everything I've read says gender dysphoria is not a mental illness.

I'm going to edit this main post with your replies so we can have a nice easy to reference list.
You won't be able to do that. The board software stops you from being able to edit your own posts after a fairly short period of time.

If gays would not act militantly superior to straights that'd be a step in the right direction.

If hollywood would stop making any and 'all gays' out to be heros, that'd be another step. Yeah, sure, maybe a few (like straights) are heroes in one way of another, but just being gay doesn't automatically qualify, though hollywood/tv scripts do make them all saintly and superior to straights, which is bs.

Plus, I don't like seeing a guy (as is my right) acting like some over the top flirty, super effeminate behavior that says 'look at me - look at me', I'm just so damn hot...no, you're just gross and I'm sickened when I see this kind of behavior. The same goes for big dykes doing their best to imitate manly, tough guy behavior, though when I see this I just snicker at the foolishness......

So do you support throat punching of anyone that is deemed, or is in fact a racist?

Is actual (not perceived) racism acceptable?

Heck, I'm here for guns and funny pictures. IMO, some are getting too bent out of shape over things they cannot control.

Well, that depends on a lot of unmentioned variables. I am half White and half Cherokee. My sister definitely got more of the Indian genes in her appearance.

My niece is half Mexican, 1/4 Caucasian and 1/4 Cherokee.

If someone were to make an vulgar remark to us about my niece or sister’s skin color, then, the culmination of that remark may very well result in that person needing an emergency tracheotomy to continue breathing normally.

If I were to overhear some racist git making that comment to some of his sisterfucking relatives I would just let it go.

Funny. 100% of the gay people I know feel the same way.

Kind of like how most of us feel about Fatty and Snowboots

    Hoji,

    Who's fatty and snowboots?

Back to what I was mentioning earlier: I don't have to take being treated in an inferior way (kind of a parallel with racism) by gays because I'm straight, but overall (no not each and every one, but the majority) is how gay society acts.

Gays are no more superior than straights, though according to an MD buddy, they as a male group are riddled with STD's given most are highly promiscuous. Again, not each and every one, but on the whole.

    Ah, no pun....

I'll answer yours if you answer mine.

Me? Certainly, you (and no really) comess to TGT for my opinion. My opinion isn't important... nor was it offered. The greater point was that society changes. Things that were once acceptable which are not today.

So your turn: do you think actual (not perceived) racism acceptable?

    Seriously? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mental+health+community

One doesn't. One has free will. But that doesn't change that gender dysphoria is no longer considered a mental illness.

Yeah, well supposedly the "scientific community" believes global warming is real science. When in fact there is a definite lack of science behind it.

Besides, most of the shrinks I have known had serious mental issues.
