Just got my CHL 13 days after sumitting the final document (fingerprints). Even the CHL instructor outlined "it takes up to 6-8 weeks, however currently people are reporting about 2"

Still a bit baloney that we have to take a 6 hour class and pay over $100, but at least its a relatively quick and easy process.

Received my LTC today, it took 22 days. That is outstanding. Just have to wonder one thing, I applied for it as a retired LEO and I saw on one of the online pages it listed Condition: Senior. I don't know if that is correct or not, since I did not apply in any way as a senior, even if I am an old geezer. Then again maybe it's not referring to me or my age.

Holy crap that's fast! Go back to the early BHO days, mine was around 107. :(

Actually I think it got worse during 2nd & 3rd year, 130+ days IIRC.

LoL! Glenn, my wife and I went to the movies last week and without my input they gave me the Senior discount. Seems that some places consider 55 as being Senior. I was depressed the rest of the day...

Fingerprinting and background check still not green as of Nov 9, 2019. I suppose it doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. I have NCIC access due to my current civilian employment with my police department and I'm still waiting.

    Welcome!

Don't let it get you down. One thing I noticed working for the government is that many times those that had background in government are often the most scrutinized.
