Most of the country has seen what has been going on the last few months & have been jumping ship from the crazy liberal mentality. The more the left gets Crazy the more divided they become. They're view points are so varried now a days the Dems leadership is falling apart because they dont even know what talking points to stand behind for the party. They have old schoolers like Fienstein that are liberal lite compared to the far left Cortez chick from New York. The views between the 2 are similar but Cortez is far more radical.

I was twelve years old, and yes I remember those times. Every night it was the top stories - chaos, hippies, druggies, etc. Six years later I was old enough to enlist, and that is exactly what I did.

I agree, we are close to the 1984 Orwellian world. That's why we have to approach it 1 election at a time. Every election from now until the end of days will dictate our future. That's why its important for conservatives to go vote. I think most moderates will lean conservative since most are constitutionalists. It will be a long fight to keep a tryanical government out of power. If it happens we just need to step up & become the 3% again.

Think about when we hear about 3rd world turmoil all the time & are like ahhh... no big deal. But the U.S. being the largest Super Power & it were to crash I think econemies around the world would collapse.

I'm sure it's happening now under our noses. Hell I think the guy that made the Youtube video that started the Bengazi attacks is still in prison from the Obama admin. I remember one of the Executive orders Obama did was... persons can be detained for no reason at all & no given time of detainment... we have secret prisons for this reason.

Socialist movements are nothing new in the United States. While at times their movements had gained steam, much like it is today, the majority of Americans see it for what it is.

I certainly expect to see many socialists coming out of the woodwork, but just like the many times before, I expect a push back by the American people.

Nothing to lock and left and about. This is s culture war. How it plays out will define the future of our country.

Right now it’s a war of ideas, not violence. Yes, there are some violent actors, but they don’t want violence. They just want to act out and want no part of an actually physical battle.

There was a culture war in the ‘60s. Conservatism won and the socialists went underground. They worked their way in to education system and waited. Enter Obama. They felt they had finally gotten the support of the population and Obama was more than happy to kick the new culture war in to gear. It is now in full swing and the fighting is as fierce as anyone might imagine.

But, the conservative and libertarians have fought with ideas and maintained some semblance of morality and integrity. The left has viciously attacked anyone and everyone who disagrees. The population is swaying right. Every time the left tried to make a full assault from a different angle a new sector of our society is alienated by them.

Am I sure of a conservative/libertarian victory? Nope. Do I sit at home loading magazines waiting for the armies to form up? Hell no. We aren’t even close. Nobody is gonna risk anything that they have for that kind of fight. I’ve already said it in another thread. People aren’t going to risk everything until they have lost everything. And deep down, even the snowflakes know that all of their screeching is just for show, they know that they have far more to lose than an election or nomination. They won’t risk their i everythings and MAC computers, their reality TV and double fagachino mocha lattes.

It's not only the moderate democrats that are crossing over to the right, there are many that were staunch supporters of the left that are finally seeing how the far left has infiltrated the democratic party and have become unreasonable. The democratic politicians just want their votes, so they too have moved farther left.
