    I ran across this on zombie squad and thought it was pretty interesting. Since it is a cap and ball revolver would it still be considered an SBR?

    No, it's legal for anyone.

    Black powder firearms or replicas thereof (the variety that uses loose powder and projectiles) are exempt from the NFA.

    Cartridge firearms (black powder or otherwise) are regulated by the NFA.

    also, as i understand it, black powder weapons arent even considered firearms technically.

    so you could carry one concealed i guess. maybe even in 30.06 places.

    i dunno for sure, but that skindof how i read it.

    im sure TXI will coem ina nd school me soon

    yep!
    but i'd carrly like 6 revolvers and a couple derringers so i didnt have to sacrifice capacity.

    That'd be quite the smoke screen as well.

    Nope, its blackpowder and not a firearm under federal law.

    If I remember correclty.
