The lack of rain. What a nice day. I haven’t used my kitchen in a few days.

    Here
I have been to Oregon several times and I think that it is a beautiful state. At one time I wanted to move there, but that was many years ago. Too bad that the lefties have ruined it.

Well, I will be on the lookout for new places to explore. I’m curious about the lbj grasslands.

I was at the State Park flying Saturday. When I went to check in at the office there were some out of towners looking for a site, presumably from the north. The lady working the gatehouse has a northern accent but is very friendly.

Anyways, she was explaining to the out of towners why there weren’t many sites. “People here camp constantly. Anytime there’s a Holiday the park is full. St Patrick’s Day, Labor Day, Easter, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, every single holiday the park fills up because the weather is never that bad. And it’s spring break so every kid in Texas gets a week off”

She went on to explain that where she had moved from was beautiful but the camping season was short so few people invested much in to it. But in Texas camping season was year round and “it’s just what everybody does here”.
