Where do I get the bestest dried sausage?

The Moonpie loves him some of that old style smoked dry sausage.
Where do you think makes the best?
I really like the dried links from Riverside Grocery in Boerne.

Penshorns Meat Market in Marion is pretty good. They also have some excellent Jalapeño - cheese summer sausage and good jerky too.

It's the same thing as Scrapple. Buncha recipes out there.

Mother always fried it.

Ate some really excellent dried sausages (Droë Wors) made in South Africa while on safari's. Their version of jerky(biltong) was equally good & different from what we know. There are a few places around Texas making both, that if you come across it you should try it!

Bubba's Smoked Meats has great dried sausage. They work allot of gun shows and I believe are based near Matagorda Bay.
