    Out here by the lake!
    Today’s attempt at a boneless ribeye roast. Garlic infused olive oil, roasted garlic, fresh rosemary, kosher salt & pepper. The Kamado is loaded with charcoal and waiting for noon to light. View attachment 295047

    I pretty much napped all day never checking the Kamado. My wife brought home a taco from the local truck that I slept through. She latter woke me up with a cherry pie.

    When I went out and checked the roast is was at 143 degrees. I can’t explain the lack of blood but it was a great slice of prime rib. The salt crust I did had to have something to do with it.

    My double baked spuds were to wet with butter & sour cream. Both are things I can generally deal with to much of. I waited to long in making them and the potatoes were cold. If they were warm they would have been easy to hand mash & reveal to much butter $ sour cream. I could have tighten them up with more cheese.
