I'm torn, I want them all but I can't spend that much right now, so I have to pick just one, what would you buy?

    A CZ Shadow 2, 9 mm, like this, https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-shadow-2-black-blue/

    or.......

    A high line 1911 like a Sig https://www.sigsauer.com/store/medi...5df139433887a97daa66f/1/9/1911_max_l_sm_1.jpg

    or a S&W PerformanceCenter like this: https://www.smith-wesson.com/sites/...rms/images/178047_01_lg_1_0.jpg?itok=9y06XlwL

or a Ruger CustomShop, like this, https://ruger.com/micros/customShop/SR1911.html

I know it's all just opinions, but I want to hear them.........

Having never held any of those, I can only go by looks.

    I like the S&W.

I’ve shot a different PC 1911 model and a different Sig model.

I’d buy the Smith before the Sig if it’s the same money.

S&W Performance Centers are very nice, and what I would choose from that group. However, since your budget is in that neighborhood anyway, why not spend just a bit more and get an STI? They make a really sweet double stack 1911, or 2011 as their being called now. And they’re all made as competition guns.

The Cabela's Allen has that custom Koenig Ruger 1911 back in the 'fine gun room'. That is one nice looking pistol. I think they have it at about $2k. If Allen has one, Cabela's Ft Worth might have one you could see / hold?
