Build a bed/seating platform that'll fold up against the wall so that you don't have to sleep on the floor.

Good idea, I was kicking that around and just might do that. I appreciate the idea, that''s a good one.

Plumbed in my air system. 100% duty cycle compressor. Should be able to handle my 37’s. f435eb0b17964c372d8bf67e0f0be0f6.jpg

The only bad thing is that 37’s take a loooong time to air up.

My previous diesel pickup had 35’s, and I aired-down to 18 psi for off-roading in the southwest deserts.

It took quite a while to air them back up with my onboard air. Even back at camp, with a 7 gallon compressor, it took time.

I figured it would take a while to air up 37’s but better than nothing. The 157 decibel air horn is just a bonus.

Wife got home the other day and said, "My car smells weird and it felt odd when I braked." I grabbed the infrared thermometer and sure enough the front passenger side caliper was 350° hotter than the other three.

After everything cooled off I pulled the wheel and it all looked fine. The caliper bolts came off easily and they looked to be in good shape, but the caliper was stuck to the bracket. Had to beat it off with a mallet

Visually everything looked fine and the piston was still moving freely, so I just cleaned everything, lubed all the sliding points, and reassembled. Been working fine for the past few days.

Removed the roof rack and the awning from the war wagon so I could bring it in the garage for a mild detail. It needs a proper clay bar, polish (to minimize my trail pinstripes), and wax/sealant treatment but this will have to do for now. She still cleans up fairly well for a 19 year old 4x4 with 220,000 miles on the odometer.

Is this a 4runner? I’d actually love to have something exactly like this as a second or fifth car but old toyota 4x4’s reeeaaally hold their value well.
