Sized the last 1000 40cal boolits.

Loaded up some 222 remington test loads using W748. and 50 gr. VMax bullets. It looks like I will be leaning towards W748 instead of Re 7 . I am using in an old bolt action which I had threaded (and the barrel shortened) for use with my suppressor.

Seems like the Re 7 will not be giving me reasonable velocities, but maybe due to the shortened barrel. Using W748 , I am testing 24.8 to 25.8 gr.

Cleaned and prepped 100 (96, apparently I lost 4) pieces of Fiocchi brass in 308. Found a really good load last week in testing with IMR-4895 and 175 smk. Planning to shoot it at 300 and 500yds for more testing. Hoping this is gona be my pet load for this rifle.

I also have 100 pieces of lake city brass in 308, already prepped and primed 50 of them. I’m gona load em up with IMR 4064 and 168 smk for a ladder test.

Prepped / Resized some 223 Lapua Match brass. Ordered more 200gr Powder Coated cast bullets for my sub-sonic 40 S&W carbine loads, as well as ordered another 1k pieces of brass for them.

Should be getting the 135gr Berger .257" bullet's in a couple days for the new 25 Creedmoor I'm building, as well as a bunch more .224" 75gr ELD-M's & .277" 110gr V-Max bullets.

Loaded up about 425 rds of 9mm 124g V Crown. It gave me a chance to really try out the 3D printed case feeder I printed for my LNL AP press. It's not perfect, but it works pretty darn well. It really speeds up things.

Thats the press I started on. No way to know how many rounds I loaded on that sucker. Let my BIL load some one weekend. and he broke it. ("what you mean I gotta lube those 7mm cases?")

TEsted out my 308 hand loads at distance. 300yds and 520yds. Fiocchi Brass, cci 34 primer, 44.2 gn IMR-4895, 175 smk, 2.82” coal. 80* ambient temps.
Looking about 1.2 Moa. Stuff was about .5 at 100. I’m sure some of that’s me. I can for sure use some more experience in marksmanship. According to the StrelokPro app I was getting 2650 fps from a 20” which I found impressive. No stiff bolt, a little bit of extractor marks. seemed very consistent

I have a couple lb’s of H4831 that I use for .270 hunting loads. But considering I only took 4 shots with my .270 last year, 1 to make sure it was still sighted in, and then I took 2 deer and a hog, I figured I had enough to test it in some 6.5 creedmoor loads. Went to the range today, and all 4 test charges I tried shot extremely well. Battery was dead in my chrono, but the accuracy was great. Worst group was just under 1”. Probably won’t do a lot of testing with this powder, but I want to send a few over the chrono to have the info. Starting to get concerned that I haven’t seen a single primer available in almost 3 months.
