Today I loaded 25 300 Black Out rounds with 14.8 gns Lil Gun and 168 gn Hornady A-Max. I'd been using 208 gn subs on feral pigs in my front yard. Some would run off to die and I couldn't find them, which my wife doesn't like. Not that I kill them, but she wants me to make sure they're dead. I switched back to 110 gn supers, even though I'm using a suppressor, and they were somewhat better. A couple of months ago I was walking through the ammo section at Academy and the only thing on the reloading shelves was one box of 168 gn A-Max, and I took that as a sign. I loaded up five and waited for a pig to show up where we feed the wildlife. The first one spun around, flipped over, and bounced. I found it about 15 yards downhill. The second one just dropped. I tried to attach a video of the first one, but MP4s aren't supported.

Had the chance to shoot at a super secret range yesterday. Picked up a bunch of brass before I left. There was so much you couldn't tell I picked up any. Snagged quite a few 223 nickel brass to go with the ones I have. Have a special load I want to use those on.

I picked up about $450 in credits from a couple raffle wins early this week. Use part to buy some played 38 bullets and some mysterious 200gr 45 bullets. I can't really tell what they are from the pictures. Description just says they're factory seconds. Kinda wanting to load some up for the 450 and see how fast a 200gr can go.

Edit to add picture. Can anyone ID these?

I'm working on a batch of 308 rounds. Using BLC2 under some Speer 168gr bthp as well as 165gr SSTs. I was starting to see pressure signs with another powder when I read the CUP pressures for BLC2. It's a solid 10k lower than imr4064 throughout the load range. If these work out I might try my luck with the 175smk and BLC2 as well. Pics coming soon....

I use H322 behind a Federal 168 grain HPBT MATCH AND FED 215 primers. Given to me by a Hornady factory shooter. Very accurate.

Now you just need some cutters for it and you'll be in business. That's where a prep station really shines. With the 223 I can hold my finger over an empty primer pocket and feel when it's cut deep enough. The finger gauge is usually accurate within a few thousandths.

It came with primer pocket cutters as well as uniformers. There in my brass cutter box with the other case prep tools

Lee makes an attachment so you can trim your brass on it too. It saves a lot of time for sure.

I’ve been using the Lee deluxe trimmer. It’ll be one less thing to take in and out of the press. That’s for sure

Don’t believe it took me so long to get that prep station! I’m so cheap, I just did everything by hand. My hands finally let me know to spend the money!

I kept lying to myself that I can do it all by hand. No more. My hands like me a little bit more.
