The application of an Air Gun for bowfishing is intriguing. It's about the same cost as a fully set up compound bow of middle shelf name brand. Or a high end recurve with high end carbon arrows.

Check Pyramid Air Guns. Those things are pricey. Cool, but not cheap.

375 grains at 450fps. With a broadhead. It'll poke through any game animal on the continent.

For comparison. I shoot a 40# draw recurve bow. The entire arrow is somewhere in the 120-140 grain range. I have to blunt tips to keep them from going through 1/2" fence board. Arrow speed is in the low 200's. It's slow. 450fps-375grains is unholy.

I guessed the weight. Gold Tip Traditional Classic XT. They have collars and I ground down 100grain field points for the blunt tips. Front of center balanced, feather fletching.

The bow is a Bodnik Mohawk recurve take down. I have 35# and 50# limbs. The 35# with the shorter riser length comes out to about 42#. Plus two other recurves that are 40#.

It definitely not 405fps. I'd only want an arrow gun for bowfishing.
