This dang forum does nothing but make me giggle and spend money...off to search for a .30cal PCP airgun.

    Gunz are icky.
Those big bore air rifles are pretty neat.
    Kinda like hunting with blackpowder.
The arrow guns look plenty interesting as well.

This guy spends an enormous amount of time talking. Fast forward to the 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00 marks to get an idea to the speed the of arrow.

    • 160 fpe with 375 gr arrows @ 450 FPS
    • Length: 33.5 inches

Wow! That's quite a capable hunting weapon.

375 grains at 450fps. With a broadhead. It'll poke through any game animal on the continent.

For comparison. I shoot a 40# draw recurve bow. The entire arrow is somewhere in the 120-140 grain range. I have to blunt tips to keep them from going through 1/2" fence board. Arrow speed is in the low 200's. It's slow. 450fps-375grains is unholy.

Curious how durable the arrows are?

    How is the gun re-charged?
Does it come with a compressor?

It is an impressive piece for sure.

There's a television show called American Airgunner. Pretty informative at least for someone as uninformed as myself. I have it set to record on DirecTV DVR. Sorry I don't have the channel available

What arrows are you shooting to only weigh 120-140 grain total?

    I shoot what would
Be considered light weight arrows in my compound with 100 grain broadheads and they weight 400 grains.

My wife shoots a compound at about 38# and her hunting arrows weigh about 300 grains.

I guessed the weight. Gold Tip Traditional Classic XT. They have collars and I ground down 100grain field points for the blunt tips. Front of center balanced, feather fletching.

The bow is a Bodnik Mohawk recurve take down. I have 35# and 50# limbs. The 35# with the shorter riser length comes out to about 42#. Plus two other recurves that are 40#.

It definitely not 405fps. I'd only want an arrow gun for bowfishing.
