    Po Campo walked all the way from the southern border to Wyoming.
    Honestly, it was probably easier then than now, as far as the actual walking. No danger of being hit by a car - only the danger of being scalped by Indians...I mean Native Americans.

    We just got back from Orlando last week. Wife has the fitbit and we did 20K steps a day twp days in a row at Universal Studios. At 50, I would not wanna do much more. I would much rather get there by vehicle and spend the days on vacation there. Throw in the added risk of trekking across TX on foot and well it does not seem worth it to me. Can it be done? Sure but why bother especially if you are older? I got nothing to prove anymore to anyone. Drink some margaritas and think this over.

    I'll be "support". I can't do it. I have a friend that rode his bicycle to Minnesota From Kerrville one summer, be he was younger then. I'll be supporting him all the way but I damn sure can't do it on foot.
