Sponsors for websites

starting my own podcasting at dsparil.com and am wondering how much money sponsors usually bring in. Trying to get a little extra cash to pay the bills. Anyone have any experience getting sponsors for websites? i.e. I'd allow their banners and promote them on my show?

On my forum, our sponsors pay a varying fee depending on their site participation. Just ranges from 20-35 a month. But, all money goes directly to site development and member giveaways. No staff or administrators receive any pay. With 30 sponsors, it's been great the past 8 years.

Just like this site, their banners have a set rotation, as well as their own subforum for discussion and product announcement.
