Sig 2400BDX Rangefinder- Initial impressions

I could have sworn there was a more recent thread on Sig rangefinders but didn’t see it so figured I’d post back here.

Set a new record for ranging distance with the 2400 today.

I did have to catch it just right to get a read, but the range was the same each time.

Can't remember.... you running the scope as well?

I just have the rangefinder. Don’t really care for the linked electronics. I guess there are situations where it could be helpful but not my thing.

building. foilage max is about 600.

I think I’ve gotten trees out to about 1600.

I bought it primarily for long range shooting though, so went for maximum ranging distance. Doubt I will ever need any where near what it can do for hunting.

I was a bit disappointed in the glass clarity on the scope. I considered buying it too, but didn't care for it.
