San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo

We went to the livestock show today. The rodeo costs too much to take my young kids that won't pay attention. It was crowded as this will probably be the nicest weather weekend of the rodeo. Unfortunately, we missed the cattle activities.

Anyway, the kids enjoy the show but man the crowds bug me.

We stopped at the Sullivan's booth for a show stick & walked away w/ a stick, clippers, & a blower. We needed the stuff but man it's expensive. I need to make some money of these dang cows. I've already outspent my tax savings for having them.

Talked to a JD dealer who has a decent used 4000 series tractor in New Braunfels. I'm not quite ready to buy a tractor.

Anyone go this year? See anything cool? We avoided all the indoor vendor booths today.

Me and my daughter went last Tuesday for barrel racing. Probably go back tomorrow for dollar days.

We usually hit just the show for longhorns and dairy cattle and hogs since we have friends whose kids show hogs.

But picking up supplies at the the show is the worst idea I’ve ever heard. You’ve got a phone in your pocket; order that off Amazon or Google or whatever.

I've been in SATX 10 years and still havent gone yet. It's on my to do list though. I like hearing what other do there.
