My Expedition has the climate control. Set it on auto and select a temperature. The fan speed adjusts automatically. I usually run it at 72°. When my wife is with me, it has dual zone control. She shuts the passenger side vent off. :)

I do like the dual climate control part though. But mine's warmer on the driver side than the passenger.

Three twisty buttons for temp, speed and direction for me, thank you. Keep on max cold always, adjust fan speed as needed..
Wife, when she's in the car with me, points all the blower outlets at herself and than turns the fan speed down because SHE is cold. Great, thanks, meanwhile I'm sitting in my own brine.

Wife is either going to burn you up in the car or freeze you out. In the winter the setting for the summer temp on the home unit is too cold and the same temp is too cold in the summertime. I just fib and say I turned it up or down and she is happy.

In my car I leave it on Auto much of the time.

But when I want to roll down the windows it's kind of a PITA to turn off the AC:
    - Press "AC" (disables AC)
    - Press down on fan control 4x (puts fan on lowest setting, disables auto fan)
    - Press "mode" 4x (puts vent direction toward my face, disables auto vent)

My truck is old enough that it doesn't have an Auto mode at all, just an on/off button for the AC. I greatly prefer this.

I use auto mode. Adjust temp as needed and let the system control fan speed and fresh/interior air. I always leave the sunroof cover open so depending on the time of day and the sun's position I may have to change the temp setting

I usually set it at 74 and dont touch. However when my daughter borrows car she puts it all over the place one side set to 60 one side to 78 with the fan on high. They dont seem to understand a thermostat

When it's very cold and I'm driving alone (sis hates this), I set the temp on max, direct all air to the footwell, and crack my window. My feet are toasty, my head's cool, and I'm happy.
