So how many here reside in an apartment?

I moved here from Mississippi where I had land and a house.... now I'm living in a condo. While I do have some food stores and such, space is limited. Coming from a house, I had to get a storage unit and I do have plenty of supplies there - packs, equipment, etc.

So how do you handle being prepared in an apartment?

    Gotta get creative.
Look for usable nooks and crannies, under the beds, etc.
Also, you need to make sure none of the stuff in storage can get heat damaged , unless of course it's temperature controlled.

Climate controlled would be great, but alas, I can't really even afford the standard store unit I have...

I'm hoping that things will improve job-wise and I can purchase a small parcel of land and put a cabin on it... but definitely not there yet.

In the mean time, I'm making do.

One thing I really don't like is that the complex periodically has maintenance men come into the condos to check on things like the smoke detectors. I have a dog and she is left in the bedroom where all my more "sensitive" items are stored and I don't think they go in there - she's not mean but probably barks at them when they come in and she figures out it's not me...
