For sale, two brand new, unused NATO 5 + gallon/20 liter capacity Jerry Cans. Cans are painted in a powder coat green, and are extremely durable. Cans are brand new, in unused condition, and have never had any liquids in them, since purchased new. These are NATO spec cans and are based on and identical to German WWII military fuel containers, known by the Allies as Jerry Cans or Jerry Jugs. The U.S. military adopted the five gallon metal gas can early in World War II. It has been used for fuel, gas, water and other liquids as a key component of military logistics, becoming a widely recognized basic item of military equipment. It has evolved from its German origins as a steel container to the modern plastic jerry cans in military use by the U.S. by NATO and many other countries. Civilian copies, by the millions, as well as surplus military jerry cans are found in every part of world.
Sold as shown, sold as is.

Originally paid $65.00 each for these cans, with tax. Selling for $55.00, each, individually, or $100.00 for both, cash only FTF Plano, Texas
