I sae a video today of a guy with 3 rugers stuck together with a forward grip. It made me think of an argument I heard at a range very recently between 2 guys arguing over a forward grip vs angled grip on an AR pistol.

As I understand it a pistol with forward grip would be an AOW. Is this correct or is it an SBR at that point? Has anyone made or bought one like that? To be clear I have no intention of putting a grip on a pistol, just curious what it would fall under.

    Quite the rabbit hole.

Ruger Charger comes with a bipod....can you legally hold the bipod as a forward grip?

AOW's are a broad category of the NFA. Vertical foregrips push firearms into AOW/SBR categories. Which category depends on specifics. There is a reason manufacturers slant foregrips/accessories at different angles other than 90 degrees. It's all BS but it is what we have to deal with.
