Serial # AD70844 which is from early 1968.

Sweet smooth lever action.

Made in 1968? The .356 Winchester cartridge was not introduced until 1982. Something doesn't add up.

Maybe he meant 1986.

Gun was made in 1968 but rechambered for the 356. Sorry for the miscommunication. As you can see, the previous caliber was punched out on the barrel and the "Winchester 356" was stamped in.
