    Neither am I.

    I will point out that under that arcade/overhang (the one with the parallel parking in front) used to be a gun store (circa early 1970s) where my dad took me when we lived in Hondo. I'm going off dim memories, here, and that may be the wrong street but I don't think so.

    The store had a large gunsmithing operation attached with lots of hot blue tanks. They did a great job of putting a deep, glossy blue on dad's M12 Winchester.

    They also had a Bushmaster Arm Pistol on the wall. First time I ever saw one.

    If somebody remembers the name of the place, I'd be interested to hear about it.

    To go farther afield, has every large city in Texas lost their big gun stores downtown? I can't think of any still in existence.
