I'm 35 years old, Texas born and raised and refuse to live anywhere else. My first handgun was a .45 Ruger Blackhawk, second was a Ruger P89. So far I have all but the first generation of Ruger P-series because they're my favorite semi-automatic. I'm definitely a semi-automatic guy, and other than the P-series I also have five different 1911's (so far) and while I have quite a few polymer frame pistols I just prefer the steel and aluminum frames.
Not big on rifles, though I have a few, because, honestly, they require a different level of patience that I've yet to build in life. I've built three AR-15's so far: a 9mm carbine, a .45ACP carbine, and a .223 carbine.
And the reason I came to the site was for help with the .45ACP carbine, plus I just really love guns, and when I saw a gun site for Texans . . . it just made sense to stick with my own.
