Nephew from Colorado wants to hunt some Texas hogs

My nephew wants to come hunt some hogs in Texas. I know nothing about it, but figured some here would be able to share some info. He looked around the web and came up with these:

No experience with any outfitter, but I did look into a weekend hunt for the wife and late last year and the two places I contacted were booked a year in advance.

Granted I was looking for something nice and not primitive. So YRMV.

You might try www.tusksandtinesoutfitters.com. A buddy of mine used to work there, they had some top of the line equipment including IR and suppressors. They provide a gun or bring your own. They also did heli hunts for a while through cedar ridge aviation IIRC. Really nice hunt cabin if you stay for the weekend.


How much are you looking to spend and are you looking for a day hunt or something for the weekend?
