Mine has a clear shield for the full face and a shaded pop down inner shield...best of both worlds.

Tundra, nice bike. Sounds like your a low time rider. Take it easy for quite awhile. Try not to do group rides for awhile (5 or more). When you get a little comfy on the bike go do some of the parking lot maneuvers idling in first gear, it will teach you about that bike. I work in a motorcycle shop I can tell stories. Have fun
