If I was really into that I would get one but I have several of the actual carbines.

It costs more than the real rifle and has a plastic stock. Doesn't seem to be a good value.

Why? Maybe if you lived in a state that didn't allow real firearms; but an American made replica M44 just doesn't make sense to me especially at that price!

But I'll stick with the real thing and 7.62x54RR! I don't see a CO2 rifle being able to do this!

The M38, M44 and Chinese type 53 do have impressive muzzle blast.
I'll bet the CO2 M44 is QUIETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
