Memorial Day events in San Antonio?

Just curious as to if there is anything going on in the San Antonio area for Memorial Day, I would really like to get involved with something as this will be the first year I will be a civilian for it.

There will be a Memorial Day service at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

I'll research the details and get back to you.

I would appreciate that, I've googled but can't pull anything up substantial. If it's at the cemetery that would be great as my grandfather rests there.

Update: Got the following from the main office of the Cemetery.

Who: General Public.

What: Memorial Day Ceremony.

When: 28 May 2012. 09:00 Prelude with music. 09:30 Ceremony.

Where: Assembly Area, New Expansion Area, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Why: Self-Explanatory.

How: Exit Harry-Wurzbach Road at main entrance of cemetery. Continue down the main avenue (heading east) approximately one mile to stop sign. Turn right and proceed towards large awning marking ceremonial site. Cemetery staff will direct traffic. Parking will be along side roads.

Other: Ceremony will be held rain or shine.
