Magnum Research Baby Eagle

Anyone here have a Magnum Research Baby Eagle in .40 S&W that they have fired many rounds through? I have some questions about functionality and wear and tear concerning the recoil rod into the frame after many rounds fired through this pistol.

Had one.

Shot a few hundred rounds.
Sold in "as new" condition.

Cannot imagine such a solid all steel pistol having anything more than negligible and insignificant wear after a couple years of moderate use.

It's a brick.

Innocent and naive question since you brought it up.
Have you or I seen detrimental or excessive wear on any modern quality firearm after a thousand rounds???
I have not.
