title says it. My contender won't stay cocked. the sear won't flip forward and engage when I open it. Very early frame with the sear set screw inside instead of on the trigger. Not desperate enough yet to attack it myself.

I've never had the need to take down a T/C so other then looking at a schematic I wouldn't know what to look for in this case. That said I will be stripping down one of mine just to say I've done it.
He isn't local but was kind enough to answer many questions and suggest fixes via email. He's a known Contender expert and has a selection of parts, if needed.
That said, if I wanted that junked Contender of mine made special (or even just functional), I'd send it to Bellm.
