WTB Looking For A 16" 300 BLK Barrel

Title pretty much says it all. New or used but I'm looking for a bargain. I have some AR stuff as trading material or cash for a good deal around the S.A./Austin/Kerr County area.

Nice! Does the pistol length gas tube length work better than a rifle length? Is there an advantage to having one?

Yes, since 300blk uses a cut down 5.56 casing there is less powder. I also bought an Aero gas block and had them install it.

I've loaded a bunch (subsonic) so I'm aware of that (less powder) just didn't know it helped with the shorter gas tube. The only one I've messed with was adjustable. Just tune it 'till it works with whatever load you're using.

When I was looking into building it the information I found on many sites said the pistol length works better than the carbine length.

I had to open mine up almost all the way to shoot my subsonic loads. (to get the bolt to work properly, pick up the next round and fully seat).

I have a 16” BCM upper I’m thinking about parting out. What brand is your 8” barrel?

I'll have to go check and get back with you a little later. I got it new, still in the sealed plastic but it did not have a name on the package and I didn't notice if it was marked, etc. anywhere on the barrel itself. I'll take a look.
