Also I don't carry or store less than lethal ammunition. If a firearm has to be involved we've already passed de-escalation and have moved onto use of force. All use of force must be deadly to avoid problems in the future such as vengeance and litigious outcomes.

If I were to get recalled to active duty at my age, it would be because we were in a full-blown civil war. Not a riot or not a few days or weeks of violent civil unrest. A full-blown no-holds barred civil war. To that end, I would be on the side fighting communism/socialism and the antifia-style thugs. And when you pick up a stick or a rock or a firearm or any other weapon during a civil war, you are not a civilian. You just became a combatant and therefore, you can be expected to be treated as such. And that goes for both sides.

With the thread about being ready to riot I wonder who has less then lethal munitions? I have a decent collection of them for my M203, Baton, rubber buckshot, sponge & smoke. No gas rounds. I figure if they are surplused I don't wan't them leaking around my house.

I have a couple boxes of 12 gauge rubber buckshot too.

Do you have the training in these less than lethal rounds? I don't. I'm not rained in a baton or mace or rubber bullets. If anyone decides they're going to try and victimize me then they're either being shot with real ammo, or cut then shot with real ammo.

do they have a standard rubber or wax bullet you can shoot from say a glock? Since we never know if we will get one of those juries even in a good shoot if having the first round less than lethal as a way to avoid prison. I heard of a antifa protest where a reporter was surrounded by thugs and all he did was pull his gun and now he is facing various felonies that i think he was convicted of. I think it was in washington state or oregon.

In Texas if the shoot is justified then civil suit is null.

Based on that less-than-lethal is not necessary.

I try to alwats carry a small can of pepper spray. Swear that is an excellent fight stopper short of shooting folks...which as we know is way too much paperwork. I am determined to get an ASP too. I used to have one but the dirty dogs took it when they took my steenken badge. I am highly trained on how to use one. I did not know it was legal to carry until I got on here. In fact thats why I came here to try to figger out if it was legal. Obeying the rules keeps us safe. Thanks.
