Gotta take care of your dam dude!

Funny that TCEQ is resposible for inspections, but they never do. Teague lake has an undermine breech at the spill pipe, been that way for years. Never gonna be fixed and someday, with one of these huge rains, its gonna disappear too.

Dont know who the woman was but she said...
    "...engineering new gates..."
    "...didnt expect this..."

Kinda talkin outta both sides of her mouth eh?

    Tax payer screwed again ^
Wonder if they'll refund all the property tax collected from (temporarily) inflated appraisal values after their gross failure to protect the infrastructure ...
    Yeah, right.
"We were engineering new gates but we never thought they would break."

Gross negligence, self admitted. On TV no less <can you hear me rollin my eyes?>

The damn will be fixed and the lake back in a matter of weeks. Medina Lake was at 3% capacity after months of drought, then it overflowed within weeks of rainfall. It is an artificial lake, Mother Nature kicked its ass and will do so again when she feels like it...

I hope that you are right. GBRA told the Lake Wood people that their dam would be fixed in 6 months. They still haven't done anything to it 3 years later.
