If you have a vehicle that uses the proximity of a key fob to open the doors, how do you lock your keys in the car when you actually want to?

Ford's external keypad to open doors has me really spoiled.

I don’t know, but my wife managed to do it at the Hullabaloo Cafe outside of College Station once.

I ordered another michelada waiting for the locksmith.

You can hit the lock button twice and it'll lock on GMs. I've done it (on purpose when swimming) and then used my Apple Watch to remotely unlock the car over cellular.

I did one time with my 74 Impala.
It was making a noise I wanted someone to hear, so I didn't want to turn it off.
Obviously I didn't want anybody to steal it while I was gone and it was running, so, I locked the doors.
