Buying health care, in general, is expensive. Now that I'm retired and no longer covered by a work-related plan, I've been looking for a health care program that doesn't cost an arm, a leg and half my left nut. The plans I've found cost, on average, $150 to $200 a month. There are some cheaper ones out there but I don't want something that will leave my ass hanging if I have some medical "emergency" to take care of.

I'm just glad I'm not a family of 5 because $20K is way out of my budget....seeing as how I'm only making $24K a year, now, with my Social Security and retirement from a former company.

Not only this, but I saw last week where the union bosses are complaining that it's going to cost them more. They were talking about trying to angle for subsidies for their members coverage. And, I bet they'll get it, too.

Problem is that the total cost of a GOLD plan is $20,000. Obamacrap is is hitting that price for a bronze plan.

He would have guest that private market could do it cheaper than the government.

Mine doesn't count # of dependents. Family plan covers all under 26 for same price, be it 1 or 5.
