I have a never fired 10/22 carbine....what's it worth in private sale?

Spend an extra $70 and just get a Kidd or Volquartsen and never look back.

Brimstone does a great job making the shit triggers Ruger is putting in their 10/22 smooth and acceptable, but with as much as I shoot the shit polymer trigger assembly stills throws the hammer spring out and requires disassembly to put it back.

That has never happened with my VQ, Kidd, or any of the old metal assembly’s that used to be in the 10/22.

Huh, I have never had an issue with that although I have a sample of 1 to go on.

A .22 day at the range for me is a minimum of 1,000 rounds.

Maybe Ruger fixed it, but when I would spend a bit of time at Lone Star Gun Range I would pop a hammer spring back in someone’s new 10/22 almost daily when I would be out there on the weekend

I have had 2 do the same thing to me when shooting fast.

Easy fix , but a pain in the ass when you are working on wearing out another 10/22 barrel.

If I buy an eighth 10/22 I will buy a Kidd or VQ trigger before I buy the gun( unless it is an older gun with the metal assembly)

If it's in pretty good condition and I needed a 10/22 I would say $150.00 would be fair. Unless it is a limited edition or a fancier one.

Do you have a picture of it? I'm looking to buy one with a wood stock.

I can take a picture of it but it looks like any other stock photo of a carbine. BRB.

That is in pretty good shape and has the box and paperwork. might be worth some more $ to somebody who wanted a rifle. The only thing I would by a used Ruger 10/22 for would be the receiver to build a project gun. Receivers are pretty danged expensive. The last 10/22 I purchased was at Walmart when they had the big brain farts on semi auto shotguns and rifles. Paid $95.00 for a brand new Ruger 10/22 and parted it out. I think I still have a stainless barrel laying around here from it.
