Hmm, no idea about more than 1. Only one came up on google.

Fuel would be nice. Local hobby shop shut down and my last gallon of 15% is almost gone. Got a gallon of 10% in reserve.

i remember there beeing a cool LHS somewhere in SA with a big shelf of used vehicles. I forget where and what they were called.

just looked up the HobbyTown, off the 410. That one seems decent, pretty. big and well stocked last I was there, but didn't look at any aircraft

Not sure about their RC airplane selection, but it's a big shop and worth a stop if you're in the area.

rman, by chance are you referring to Dibble's Hobbies on Donaldson Ave? Not large, but some interesting displays.

Otherwise, there was another big hobby store on Austin Highway if I remember correctly. It was in an old bank as I remember a large train layout in what used to be the vault. I don't think it's there anymore, I can't recall seeing it for years now.

    Cheers! M2

We stopped in. Picked up the last gallon of 15% nitro, a prop, and the kids got a couple toys.

Plane selection wasn't bad, not super either. All foam electric ARFs/BNF/RTF. Saw a P47 Razorback that was tempting.

Needed a 45C 4S Lipo, none available. Said they might get some tomorrow. Noticed they had a lot of Eflite batteries which are typically overpriced and underperforming.

Much larger selection of RC cars and trucks. Browsed around but can't afford to get in that mess right now.

We will probably be close tomorrow and may stop in to check on the batteries. If they can't offer something other than Eflight I'll just order a better cheaper battery.

May stop off if I run across any random shops while we're in the area.

Went to Dibbles, definitely wasn't the place I was thinking of.
He sent me to Al's.... MY GOD. I couldn't even figure out what he was selling, what he was fixing, and what was trash.

Ended up at HobbyTown... didn't see anything I needed.

For the life of me I can't figure out what shop I went to. I swear it was in SATX but I could be mistaken

    ETA:

After scouring Google, it's Radio Control Headquarters off Nacogdoches

Good RC shops for air are getting harder and harder to find. The ones that are out there seem to only carry electric foam parkflyers.

Hobbytown had a few fuel tanks and supplies, some balsa, but it was pretty limited and no kits as all.

Most of the foam electrics were around 30" wingspan or smaller.
