That article says the lead detective retired from HPD.

This article from late Feb says he was released from the hospital

Didn’t Art say they weren’t questioning the lead detective because of his condition? Well it’s been a minute and the guys apparently healthy enough to be released from the hospital.

    What the hell?

Shut your filthy piehole you sniveling serf and pick up that can after you respectfully sniff the badge.

How dare you question HPD’s integrity.:turkey:

Had a Special Agent retire from my bureau and everyone in the know was incredibly pissed. He had used an (off-network) investigative workstation to download child porn, 24 hours a day for months.

Normal employees would be cuffed and frog-marched out of the office in front of everybody. He got his pension and a week to arrange his affairs before he was quietly arrested, took a deal, and disappeared.

Some LEOs are more equal than others, it seems.

Unfortunately. One of my former subordinates just got his Squadron command early because the current commander (and another peer commander) were fired quite publicly after an investigation revealed what had been a career field tradition went a little too far and turned into hazing.

Not unknown for that type of thing to happen.

Several have retired, my understanding is several have retired rather than give possibly incriminating statements.
    Then there's this gem: http://www.fox26houston.com/news/video-showing-the-aftermath-of-the-harding-street-drug-raid

For those of us that do not have the patience to watch a 20 minute cell phone vid, what does it show?

I can’t see shit but I only got through a few minutes.

I agree it's poorly shot, and the commentary isn't so good.
Gunfire @ 2:30, a quick double-tap. Several minutes after the initial raid, and BIG trouble for HPD! There is less and less doubt that Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas were murdered by Goines and crew.
Goines needs to be charged with Capital Murder for the deaths of Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas - I'm surprised he hasn't yet - and for the officers that were shot (by each other).
Starting at about 17:00, HPD is on a loudspeaker telling those inside the house to surrender - long after they bled out!

This is going to end up as a really interesting made for TV movie.

Somehow, in my mind I keep thinking it could be a weird love triangle. Or maybe I just want it to be.... lol

    Damn.
Have they come out and said what all the officers were shot with?
How much of it was friendly fire I wonder?
