    There was a kid killed shooting a mini uzi years ago at a mg shoot.
    Doctors kid, iirc. Range officers tried to dissuade the kids dad. The gun flipped back and rounds went in his head.
    Dad sued.
    That whole situation was full of fail. I don't find the videos of letting inexperienced shooters shoot hand cannons funny either. If they don't have a reasonable chance of controlling the weapon, they shouldn't be shooting it.

    Uzi owner should've counter sued for loss of use while the cops kept it in evidence

    There was range officer killed in 2017 (IIRC) when a 9 year-old girl fired an Uzi. The gun just climbed up and caught the RO.
    It was 2014.

    In case no one has ever seen it, it's on youtube here and elsewhere. We discussed it at the time and I don't think the video needs to be embedded on TGT nor does it need to be re-hashed. The mistakes of the instructor, his death, and the impact on that little girl are, in order, obvious, tragic, and heart-rending.
