Henry 22lr sight options?

so I've been looking for a new front sight for my Henry and I've gott'a say that I cant find any bead sights for the round barrel. I want to get my groups tighter at 100 yards. I have no desire to scope this rifle

with elcheapo ammo I get about a 1' group , more or less what gets blocked by the front blade. (it's annoying)

Nice...1 foot group isn't bad with that rifle at 100yrds

Have you considered modifying your current blade. I have more trouble with beads at 100 yrds than I do blades.

Also, you may consider adjusting the elevation to raise your POI, that way you won't have to cover the target but use a 6 O'clock hold. That's how I run my old bolt action and it gives me a descent chance of hittin clay pigeons with a wide front blade.

I've thought about shaving it down, but I still need to change the rear leaf. I'm strongly thinking about slapping something together and using a bras pin for a bead...
