Gun ownership in Europe surging

WSJ article (can't paste here due to site rules and a link would be useless as it requires subscription) reports that gun ownership is rising in Europe. Up 10% in past four years.

Spurred by several factors, including realization that government cannot protect people against terrorist acts. Belgian applications doubled after a 2015 terrorist attack. Belgians must pass a year of shooting and theory tests, plus psych checks.

A researcher reached an amazing conclusion: “It’s clear that illegal guns are used mostly by criminals,” Wow.

One need only study the lack of arms for the home guard or the NAZI use of French gun registration to enforce brutal gun control to understand why we must fervently defend our 2nd Amendment.

All it takes is for a Leftist President to reduce our defenses enough to make us vulnerable to attack and we run the risk of being invaded.

It may be unlikely, but it’s better to be prepared.
