    Definitely praise-worthy shooting, IMHO. Even if the guy ends up passing the credit on to luck and fate, it's pretty hard to deny that his training paid off when the time came.

    I would not consider this story a success. Yes, perp is dead and prob for the better. However, the victim was shot twice, and his life changed forever, over a freaking cell phone that never existed.

    Ehh, to me, any time a good guy wins over a bad guy it's still a win.
