WSJ ran this article on efforts to recruit younger folks to hunting. Highlighted an effort called Field to Fork, I think it’s called. Active in 8 states, apparently.

In Austin, a restaurant called Dai Due puts on a feral hog butchery program targeting the same crowd and an all-inclusive 3-day hunting or fishing school.

I saw the same article the other day. Though I’m not a subscriber and couldn’t finish it, it is interesting to see that. I’d wondered for a few years when the folks that often talk about sustainable eating and food would get around to hunting.

    Hope it succeeds.
    Hunting is slowly fading away.
IMO it is mainly a cost to access issue here in Texas.
Loss of habitat to sprawl is an issue everywhere.
