I don't have a trigger gauge but I believe it's more like 5 lbs. I believe they've eliminated the issues of the Browning/FN Hi-Power.

Thanks, good to hear, does it accept regular Hi Power grips? I have several sets which I love and kept when I sold my Browning

I believe several parts are interchangeable, but this is the smaller version with the 3.9" barrel which may be relevant. You might checkout the Jimmini show on Youtube which did a side by side and demonstrated interchangeability. The grip is 3 3/4" long and 1 5/8 wide at its widest point. It's held in place by one screw on each side which is about 1/2 way down on the rear side of the grip
