Free 30 day Amazon Prime - don't want it

Dang it! I clicked the wrong button on an Amazon order and if I complete the order, I am signed up for 30 day free trial. I don't want to do this. This will lead to inadvertently charging $100 (plus?) to my credit card for a year of Prime. I don't want it! Does anybody know how to back out of the free trial. My order is hanging fire.

I opened my accounts link.
Found Amazon Prime link in there
& opened that & found "Cancel my benefits".

We (ab)use the tar out of Prime. There's not a week that goes by without those brown boxes showing up on the doorstep. With more products being stocked in the local Houston DC's, I'm getting more products next day too which is nice.

I did the same exact thing a month ago. I didn't cancel until the last day though. I don't really use Amazon all that much to justify paying for it.

I like Prime a lot...I watch a lot of their videos, movies, tv, etc. if I dump GVTC TV and phone, I’ll break even in a couple months...

And their auto parts rock! Their Amazon Basics motor oil is excellent, as are their batteries and lots of other stuff.

$129 sucks, but I make it back pretty quick in free shipping.

Now, if Bezos will only start selling ammo!!!

So, I just received notification that my Amazon package was "hand delivered" to resident.
Well, must have been a resident of the wrong house.

See if the web site has a picture of the delivery? Otherwise check around? If no success, bitch at Amazon.

Yeah, they normally show a picture of the front door, but since it was "hand delivered", no picture.
Sure nice of one of my neighbors to accept my package.

I've contacted one place, this is their response,

"If you just got the notification give it a little bit of time. I see a lot of times that they delivery driver accidentally scans the wrong package and it causes a situation like this. They usually will usually deliver the same day. I don't know this to be the case but 80% of the time that is how it works. If it doesn't show up today please let me know and I will get you taken care of."
