I had a guy out bidding some tree trimming yesterday. We talked about fire wood too. He was saying a face cord is $200.00 you haul! He said that’s seasoned hard wood! He said out in his area(Franklin) that’s the going rate.

A cord is 4X4X8 or basically the bed of a full sized pick up!

Well shit. Had a huge ash fall at my rental property from the last wind storm. Just paid a guy to cut it up and haul away. Would have needed to be dried out but would have been nice next year.
